Even though they are based on the same body, the conversion to digital use means controls can be placed anywhere. It's like a Jag purchased in the U.S. versus some of those wierd countries, where the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.:)

Not that it matters, since Ikelite will likely use the single MD case as a basis, with differing controls for each model. This is the only downside with Ikelite. The standard case is plenty bulky. The MD case is even bulkier.
