If any one has some tips on making a Substrobe AQ/S fire properly. I'm using it with a Aquashot 3e (Fugi Endevor 10)

I used the camera to day for the first time in 80-85 ft and was have a terrible time with the strobe, Not firing. Perhaps it's not positioned right? I have it set of to the side with the extention bar, Seems to be in line that the sensor could see the flash. But not sure. I would be very thankfull for any TIPS.
