Your housing also has a connection for a sync cord. I don't know anything about using the DS-125 with a sync cord since I use the slave sensor but it's worth contacting Ikelite about IMO. I know this camera can be used with the 'normal' Nikon compatable strobes. The direct connection should be a better solution overall.
