Subject: canon software battles Author: mark corby Date: 8/16/2002 12:56:27 PM Message:    Hi, I'm new to this board ... and new to U/W photography!!! I have a canon S40 digital, a wpc300 case and a YS90dx strobe.... I've spent the last couple of weeks getting familiar with everything before diving with it. The problem I'm fighting at this stage is the blasted software to taek the pictures off the card. The software is loaded properly, it's there in the program files... yet when I go to hook the camera up ... I get into this nasty loop of "file not found" .. it loops you thru every file, saying it can't find it .. the only way to get out, is to shut down the 'puter and start all over. Does anyone have any experience with the canon digital camera version 8.0 software??? thanks mark corby
