Elizabeth,

I use the Sea + Sea MX-10. I agree that the wrist strap that comes with it is useless.

I attached a split ring quick release connector to the camera where the wrist lanyard was supposed to go. I also use a octopus holder quick connect looped around the strobe. I have the matching connectors clipped on my BC. When I'm done with the camera, especially during ascent, I clip the camera onto the BC and I'm hands free. I can even climb the ladder and get on the boat with the camera still attached.

I have also used a quick connect octopus holder around my wrist as a safety...I connect the clip on the camera to it in case something makes me let go of the camera...it can't get very far.

One caution...make sure the connectors on the camera don't get in front of the lens. I have some very good photos of the connectors!!!
