The re-post of your first picture definitely looks sharper.

That middle shot is amazing. It makes me beg to go do some pacific diving. Dammitall, why can't the caribbean have that sort of color?

The TTL problems are probably related to the camera not doing a good job balancing ambient and strobe light. At night all light is strobe light, which makes the job much easier.

Great results. I look forward to seeing the compiled collection.
