I've posted a couple times about general problems with this strobe/sensor combination. In general, for most of the successful shots I used it like a fixed power strobe at 1/2 power and adjusted aperture to get the lighting right. This is pretty crappy for a $750 strobe. As I said above, TTL worked with some of the close stuff. Ikelite has now said that there is a fundamental design problem with the sensor and they are redesigning it. New versions will be available around the end of May. I'm really rather frustrated with the whole situation but, true to form, Ikelite is working hard to correct it.
