You might try looking at an Aquashot 3 housing, which *was* designed to accomodate many different sizes & shapes of cameras. It has a seating plate that can be set to 4 or 5 different heights, a reversible trigger lever that is meant to reach several different button positions, and a wide lens port & sliding lens mount that will accomodate a ~3/4" range of lens positions.
