O-rings are such a common commodity that it would seem foolish to design a product that would require a "special". By measuring the id, od and groove depth in the part, you should be able to establish the O-ring number. Measuring the original O-ring cross section will also help to narrow the search. The technical information on O-rings can be found in a "Parker O-ring Handbook" from Parker Seals, phone #(859)269-2351. The info may also be available at www.parker.com/o-ring.
