...that both strobes are pointed in exactly the same place. With WA work, that rarely makes sense. What a lot of people do is to aim both strobes straight ahead and let the cones overlap to light the center area. In this case, you're better off treating each strobe as having it's very own independent guide number.

FWIW, using mismatched strobes with WA is probably a difficult task. Craig, given the situation you describe (high currents), I'd just go with the single SS-200 rather than have to deal with the extra bulk and the hassle of setting up two light sources.
