Are you talking about the DSC-001 or whatever the exact model # is? The truth is, the Minolta C3040 looks like the cream of the crop right now, and there are several housings to choose from. If one were going digital, that would probably be the 1st choice. Personally, what I want out of a digital camera is basically an SLR kind of deal, at least in terms of flash control, aperture, etc. The ideal unit would be a 35mm CCD that I could plug into my Nikon camera, thus allowing me to use the lenses & housing I already have. I'm dreaming, of course....Can you imagine the production cost on a 36mmx24mm CCD sensor? Yikes! D
