the manual says to use the method 3000psi mentioned "to preserve the o-ring and prevent cracking". I'll do that once in a while and specifically if the o-ring is to be stored for any time. I just wanted to hear other's opinions about not using any. I've seen the o-ring bind on the hinged door of the Auto35 housing so I've seen that effect first hand.

I'll find some dissicant, just wanted a head start on my search and the dive shop should be just that. Never occured to me that they may sell it.
