The Sigma D-SLR using the Foveon chip lists a ISO 100 equivalency. Where are you hearing about the noise problem?

Digital images at ISO 400 I've seen have been quite "noisy" and in my opinion just aren't very good.

BTW, Contax is coming out with their D-SLR with a full size CCD at 6.1 megapixels. At $7000 plus the price of those excellent but mortgage payment priced Carl Zeiss lenses, it should be a bargain.

Where is it all going? I can't figure it out, too many choices:

1) Foveon 3.3 mp x3
2) Fuji S-2 with 6.1 mp super CCD octagonal pixels interpolated to 12.2 mp
3) Nikon with old fashioned 6 mp square pixels
4) Future Canon with full size CCD

I are so confused!!! Film is film, thank God.
