Yea, I know side lighting is good but when I looked at this one it just seemed dark and sort of uninviting. When I lightened it up a bit the blue jumped out and changed everything.

As for getting more of the star, I tried that but (as you guessed I may) by pointing down. Here's the result...




Man it's frustrating when you slice to top off of a coral head but through the magic of digicams, I knew it instantly and tried again. The thing to the left is a giant chunk of granite, common in the Similans.
