the "superia" or "x-tra layer" which is considered as "consumer" film. You can check the differences at www.fujifilm.com, although you won't learn too much there since they always say about every film "ultra low grain" and "superior colors" etc.. :-)

From what I can tell (from "topside" photography), there is a high difference in granulation between "Press" and "superia" film. For example, using 800ASA/"superia" results in relatively high granulation whereas the 800ASA/"press" is almost like a 100 ASA film.. Those were the "pros".
The "cons": more expensive and difficult to get. You won't find "press" film in drugstores and supermarkets...
