For fish, the 105mm is king. Well, at least for small fish and critters. It is absolutely THE lens to use. I've got a 60mm and a 200mm. Niether are the best choice for underwater.

Now the hard part...The 60mm is by far the more versatile lens of the group on land. At 60mm it can be used as a walking around lens and as a portrait lens and does a better job than the 105mm. The 105mm gets little use unless I am specifically doing macro, like flower and bugs. The 200mm, virtually useless underwater, actually gets more use topside than the 105mm when shooting in sunlight.
