Were this weekend in Eilat, Israel. Although Eilat is by far less beautiful than nearby Sinai, it can offer some nice UW attractions: It is quite common to meet dolphins (almost on every dive), there are three Spotted Eagle Rays that made Eilat their home, a few turtles who seem to like divers, barracudas, etc. the Mako shark was a real bonus and is very rare. Rumors say that they are attracted to the fish-farm in the northern beach.
What else we've seen this weekend? A Ghost Pipefish, Sea horses, two Octopusses, a big Filefish, several Squids and Cuttlefish and some more.
I'll have the slides of these dives scanned as soon as I receive them and share them with you. I must admit that these are my first films taken underwater, so I don't expect them to be so good. Most of the time I just took pictures for the sake of taking something so I can learn from the results. My buddies are not photo enthusiastics, so I didn't felt good "wasting" too much time on a single spot just for the sake of improving composition or waiting for the fish to move to a better place...Next time I'll go with another friend who takes pictures and I hope to work on that too.

Thanks for your help!
