Not sure if this is the place to ask but will do so anyway.
I am a fairly competent photographer who has recently taken up diving and would like to combine the two activities. My best camera is an ancient Nikon F2 (manual film advance)with 50mm and 24mm lenses. I also have a Finepix 1400Z digital bought to see if I wanted to go digital. (I've decided to keep both cameras)
Question: Does it make more sense to buy the best new u/w digital camera I can afford than to try to buy a housing and a drive for the Nikon? There's little doubt the Nikon lenses would take better pictures than any digital camera I could afford.
I'd be grateful for any advice with reasons. Thanks
