SeaLife has a 2 megapixel camera, but they are retooling it. Rumor has it that if you add a strobe on it, it creates enough torque on the housing to cause leaking.

The only advantage to the SeaLife digital is that it takes all the same accessories as the SeaLife film cameras.

The downside is you've got a lousy 2 megapixel fixed focal length digicam to start with.

I find myself repeating this over and over. Digicams come in all colors and flavors, from simple point and shoots to SLR's. I've got an Olympus 1.3 megapixel camera with no zoom or exposure control. It takes lousy images. For $300, I can put it in an Ike housing and go underwater and capture even lousier images.

I've got a fairly new Nikon CP995 and Aquatica housing with synch port for a strobe. I'll be testing it in two weeks in Coz. The camera allows full control of exposure, including this white balance thing I can't seem to get quite right.

I agree with Dave that housing the F2 doesn't make any sense. If you had a full complement of AF lenses, upgrading your camera might be justifiable. Otherwise, you'd be starting from scratch.
