Is it possible to use the 50mm in the dome port? I know that I'll lose the benefit of some "extra" focal length/magnification using the flat port, but I'd love to avoid the extra cost at the moment. I'm guessing that I'd need to add a +4 corrective filter on the lens since it's not a macro version and if I recall correctly, it's minimum focus distance is something like 15". The filter size on the 50mm is the same as the 28-105, so I could always use that close up filter on that lens in the future.
